The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for technical, operational, and managerial roles essential for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand manpower requirements from various departments, particularly production, quality, maintenance, design, and supply chain.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, consultancies, and campus recruitment.
Screen resumes, conduct initial telephonic or in-person interviews, and shortlist candidates based on technical and cultural fit.
Coordinate with department heads and arrange technical interviews.
Handle offer negotiations, documentation, and ensure smooth onboarding.
Maintain and regularly update the recruitment database.
Work closely with the HR team on manpower planning and forecasting.
Develop talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
Ensure recruitment strategies align with company policies and comply with statutory requirements.
Prepare periodic reports on hiring status, challenges, and recruitment metrics.
Actively participate in job fairs, campus drives, and industry networking events.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment in the manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with blue-collar, supervisory, and engineering role recruitments.
Excellent sourcing and screening skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure and fast-paced recruitment cycles.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliances relevant to manufacturing.
Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment software (ATS).
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA in HR ( mandatory).
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Should have experience specifically in
core manufacturing / engineering / heavy industries
.
Must be able to handle both white-collar and blue-collar recruitments.
Exposure to shop floor hiring, shift-based manpower planning is an added advantage.
