Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic

Junior HR Recruiter

to support our recruitment efforts in the fast-paced furniture manufacturing and retail industry. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying, attracting, and onboarding talented individuals for various roles across our operations, from showroom supervisor and factory floor positions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in HR and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with sourcing candidates through online channels, job fairs, referrals, and social media. Post job advertisements on various platforms and track their performance. Screen applications and conduct initial phone interviews. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Support the onboarding process by preparing offer letters and organizing orientation sessions. Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed. Assist in building a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or pursuing). 2-4 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or a related administrative role. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ATS software is a plus. Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Interest or experience in the furniture or manufacturing sector. Basic understanding of recruitment metrics and HR processes. Familiarity with trade-specific hiring (e.g., carpenters, upholsterers, delivery staff, etc.).
