1. Job Purpose



To design, implement, and manage the organization's Performance Management System (PMS) to ensure continuous performance improvement, employee development, fair appraisal processes, and alignment of individual goals with business objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities



A. Performance Management System



Develop, implement, and update the Performance Management System (PMS) policies and framework. Drive the annual and mid-year performance appraisal cycles. Ensure objective setting, KPI/ KRA creation, and performance review processes are followed correctly. Conduct calibration sessions to ensure fairness and consistency. Coordinate with department heads to align KRAs with organizational goals.

B. Performance Monitoring & Analytics



Track employee performance throughout the year and monitor progress on KPIs. Analyze performance data and prepare reports for management review. Provide insights and recommendations for improving performance levels. Maintain PMS dashboards and ensure data accuracy.

C. Employee Development & Coaching



Identify high performers and skill gaps through PMS results. Work with L&D team to create development plans, IDPs, training schedules, and career progression opportunities. Facilitate performance improvement plans (PIP) for low performers.

D. Communication & Training



Conduct training for employees and managers on goal setting, KRA/KPI preparation, and appraisal processes. Create communication materials, guidelines, and awareness programs regarding PMS policies.

E. Policy & Compliance



Ensure PMS policies are aligned with company HR policies. Review and revise PMS procedures periodically. Maintain documentation and records for audits, compliance, and HRIS platform.

F. HR Technology & Tools



Implement and manage PMS modules on HRMS/HRIS platforms. Coordinate with vendors for system enhancements or technical support.

3. Skills & Competencies Required



Strong understanding of PMS frameworks (KPI, KRA, Balanced Scorecard, OKRs). Excellent analytical and reporting skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Good knowledge of Excel, HRMS tools, and data dashboards. Ability to manage large-scale appraisal cycles effectively. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Stakeholder management and facilitation skills.

4. Qualifications & Experience



MBA / Master's Degree in HR or related field. 5-10 years of experience in HR, with 3+ years specifically handling PMS. Experience with HRMS, performance appraisal tools, and data analytics preferred.
