The role is responsible for end-to-end functional testing and validation of SAP HR systems and all integrated HR platforms across GCC operations, including large-scale UAT, regression testing, payroll validation, defect management, and release sign-off.
In addition, the role provides functional oversight and governance of payroll and HR operations across GCC (UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman), ensuring accurate and timely payroll outcomes, compliance with GCC labor laws, and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
The role works closely with the HR Shared Services team that executes payroll and HR transactions for GCC, providing functional expertise, system validation support, and problem resolution to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to service level agreements, without direct people management responsibility.

3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
3.1. Immediate Supervisor - Support the HR Shared Services function on the monthly closure of payroll activity along with Payroll Execution Strategy and standardization of payroll-related processes with standard operating procedures.
3.2. Employees - Payroll-related queries such as Full and Final, Leave Encashments, Vacation Settlements, and pay slips.

4.1. SAP HCM Testing & Project Management
1. Maintain SAP IT tracker for reports, enhancements, and customizations.
2. Execute end-to-end UAT and regression testing prior to production deployments.
3. Track project TAT and ensure timely closure with documentation.

4.2. HR System Audits & Compliance
1. Review SAP access matrix periodically to ensure appropriate user rights.
2. Conduct SAP access audits and maintain ISO trackers for system audits (VUCA compliance).

4. Perform periodic audits of HRSS system usage and provide refresher guidance where required.

13. Immigration & Compliance
a. Ensure compliance with GCC labor laws (UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman).
b. Audit trade licenses, vouchers, ILOE subscriptions, visa processing costs.
c. Transaction TAT Audit on visa issuance, renewals, and cancellations within defined timelines.
d. Track immigration compliance costs and reporting accuracy.
14. HR Systems & SLA Management
a. Monitor HR transactions against agreed TATs and SLAs.
b. Track and resolve system errors and integration issues.
c. Conduct periodic audits of HR application modules and integrations.
4.3. Process Improvements & Automation
1. Identify process improvement and automation opportunities across GCC payroll & HR operations.
2. Benchmark against global retail HR standards and recommend best practices.
3. Test HR applications/SAP HCM processes against SOPs and escalate deviations.
4. Develop RCA reports, recommendations, and action plans post-audits.
5. Conduct periodic SAP HCM training for HRSS team.
6. Participate in HRSS projects, compliance initiatives, and system upgrades.

4.5. Payroll Management - Backup (GCC)
1. Provide functional validation and governance of payroll execution across GCC countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
