Key Responsibilities
Process
monthly payroll
for employees accurately and on time
Maintain payroll records including
attendance, leaves, overtime, incentives, and deductions
Handle
statutory compliances
such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and labor laws
Prepare and upload
PF & ESI challans
, returns, and reconciliations
Coordinate with banks for
salary disbursement
Address employee queries related to
salary, deductions, payslips, and tax
Manage
full & final settlements
and exit payroll processing
Ensure compliance with
company payroll policies
and statutory regulations
Support audits and provide payroll-related reports as required
Coordinate with HR for
new joiners, exits, and employee data updates
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
payroll processing & statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with
PF, ESI, PT, TDS
Proficiency in
MS Excel
(VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
Familiarity with
payroll software/tools
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce, Accounting, or Human Resources
1-3 years
of experience in payroll or HR operations (preferred)
Preferred
Immediate joiner or short notice period
