Job Description


ROLES AND KEY RESPONSBILITIES: A. Payroll processing: TDS knowledge 1. Managing and coordinating with clients to get the accurate salary inputs details along with HR inputs & documents to verify, validate, compute & process the salary 2. Processing end-to-end error free payroll, employee benefits, employee reimbursement, employee tax planning and implementation, withholding tax management. 3. Processing payroll comprising of tax friendly components & good working knowledge on Income tax provisions on such components. 4. Providing payroll entries to client\xe2\x80\x99s finance team to complete the monthly book closure. 5. Releasing the payslip to employees within 24 hours of releasing the payroll. 6. Preparing employees salary breakup based on respective state Minimum wages act 7. Setting up employee help desk and resolving employee queries. B. Labour compliances: 1. Computing statutory calculation and deduction like Profession Tax, Provident Fund & ESI 2. Managing client servicing activities related to compliances with labour laws including execution of activities under applicable compliances \xe2\x80\x93 Profession Tax, Provident Fund & ESI matters. 3. Creating ESI employee ID for new joiners, Creating new joinee provident fund numbers, supporting employees in completing KYC, supporting employees in PF transfers, supporting employees in e-nomination. 4. Support with maintaining labour law registers digitally through GreytHR and/or otherwise C. Client interfacing role: 1. Effectively & efficiently execute client servicing activities related to professional engagements for small to medium corporate clients allocated. 2. Execute activities related to Compensation and Benefits including assistance with compensation structuring and reviewing. 3. Assistance with configuring, implementing, and operating payroll software, particularly GreytHR, as per client agreed terms and requirements. 4. Provide suitable responses to queries by parent/holding company on matters arising in relation to payroll and related engagements 5. Provide professional advisory, consulting, guidance & opinions to other client servicing teams or to clients, where called for, including holistic participation in discussions on all payroll, labor law and related matters 6. Take up limited reviews of payroll and labor law related activities for other client servicing team and participate in team deliverables 7. Specialize and build expertise, capabilities, and exceptional skills in all aspects of compensation and benefit and labor law activities and impart training and development initiatives across the organization, for the benefit of other client servicing teams. EXPECTED WORK EXPERIENCE, KEY SKILLS, AND PERSONALITY TRAITS: 1. Should have experience of at least 3+ years with credible expertise and familiarity in handling Payroll and related functions for multiple clients in a professional services organisation, preferably CA firm or Consulting firm. 2. Sound knowledge of corporate compensation and benefits practices including labor law compliance maters. Must be fully familiar with practices, procedures, and policiesrelated to every aspect of payroll and labor law compliances especially PF and ESI, with right knowledge, experience, and passion for client servicing and abilities to multitask and handle multiple clients 3. Presentable and good communication skills, both oral and written, pro-active, dynamic, energetic and go-getter 4. Working experience in GreytHR or other similar cloud-based payroll software and expertise in handling MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook and familiar with handling TDS filing software 5. Should have good hands-on Compensation and Benefits operational experience, and delivering good performance, and achieving all agreed objectives 6. Must be strong in communication with external & internal stakeholders, must have good interpersonal skills and must be good with convincing & negotiation skills. 7. Should be able to give attention to details with zero error approach and must be organised, disciplined and professional in attitude and approach 8. Good understanding of modern compensation and benefits practices, standard operating procedures, and work methodologies 9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, dependable work ethic, strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task, ability to prioritize amongst various tasks in a deadline driven environment, dependable, self-motivated, willing to proactively take ownership and initiative, and must be collaborative 10. Pleasing personality with good personal attribute Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: 925,000.00 - 940,000.00 per month Benefits:
