We are looking for a proactive HR & Operations professional who can manage a broad generalist role with strong focus on
campus recruitment, fresher onboarding & training
,
employee engagement
,
performance management
, and
IT & infrastructure management
. The individual will also ensure smooth HR operations including background verification, insurance management, compliance (with exposure to SOC 2), and office administration for a 200-member office setup.
This role requires a strong sense of commitment, ownership, and accountability to ensure high-quality outcomes across HR and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full
ownership and accountability
for assigned responsibilities and deliverables.
1. HR Generalist, Compliance & Operations
Support day-to-day HR operations including employee records, attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
Assist in implementing HR policies and employee support processes.
Assist in preparing and maintaining HR/Operations documentation in line with
SOC 2 compliance requirements
.
Support audits and ensure timely closure of compliance observations related to HR & operations.
Oversee
Plan and execute campus recruitment drives in partnership with colleges/universities.
Manage the entire fresher hiring cycle including scheduling, assessments, interviews, and selection.
Ensure seamless onboarding experience including induction, documentation, and orientation
3. Fresher Training & Development
Design, plan, and coordinate a
6-month structured training program
for freshers.
Liaise with internal teams and external trainers for technical and behavioral training modules.
Track performance, collect feedback, and ensure successful integration of trainees into project teams.
4. Employee Engagement
Plan and execute employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and cultural programs.
Conduct periodic employee feedback surveys and support in implementing action plans.
Drive initiatives to strengthen motivation, collaboration, and retention.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with training vendors and office service providers.
Monitor deliverables, handle contracts, and ensure timely processing of invoices.
6. Performance Management
Support the design and execution of
performance appraisal cycles
for all employees.
Coordinate feedback collection, appraisals, and recognition programs.
7. IT and Infra Management
Handle IT & infra requirements for a 200-member office
, including:
+ Allocation, setup, and maintenance of laptops/desktops, internet, and communication systems.
+ Procurement and coordination with IT vendors for hardware, software, licenses, and AMC.
+ Ensure IT asset tracking, inventory management, and compliance with security policies.
+ Support IT-related controls required for
Oversee seating arrangements, power backup, internet uptime, and access control systems.
+ Act as first-level support for IT/infra issues and coordinate quick resolution with vendor/IT teams.
Manage general office operations including housekeeping, facilities, security, and supplies.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Minimum
4+ years of experience
in HR Generalist roles.
Hands-on experience in
Campus Recruitment, Fresher Training, and Performance Management
.
Knowledge of
background verification, group insurance, and HR compliance
.
Exposure to SOC 2 compliance processes
(documentation, audits, HR/IT controls).
Strong organizational and coordination skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
Exposure to IT/infra management for midsize offices (preferred).
High sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment
to responsibilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and vendor management skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred but not mandatory.
Prior exposure to IT/infra coordination, training program management, performance management, or compliance frameworks (SOC 2/ISO) will be an advantage.
