1. Purpose of the Role


The Executive - HR Operations supports seamless and compliant execution of all backend HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring timely HR documentation, supporting HR systems and audits, and serving as a process custodian for HR compliance and efficiency.

Purpose Statement:


To ensure smooth execution of core HR operations through accurate data management, timely process execution, and adherence to compliance standards, thereby enabling a high-trust and efficient employee experience.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Employee Lifecycle Management

Process and maintain documentation related to onboarding, transfers, exits, and confirmations. Ensure timely issuance of letters - offer, confirmation, increment, experience, etc. Maintain and update employee records in HRMS / ERP systems and physical files.

B. HR Systems and Data Management

Manage and update HR databases (HRMS, spreadsheets, trackers) with accuracy. Generate reports and dashboards for attrition, headcount, leaves, and other key metrics. Support HR digitization initiatives and employee self-service systems.

C. Payroll Inputs & Statutory Support

Coordinate with payroll and finance teams for monthly inputs (attendance, variable pay, deductions, etc.). Maintain records for statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.) in coordination with vendors. Support HR audits, documentation checks, and labor compliance filings.

D. Process Improvement & Documentation

Suggest and implement improvements in HR operations processes for efficiency. Maintain SOPs, HR policies repository, and compliance calendars. Track SLA adherence for operational processes and ensure timely closures.

E. Employee Query Support

Act as the first line of support for employees on operational HR queries (leave, pay slips, benefits, etc.). Escalate unresolved issues to Lead - HR Operations or relevant teams as needed. Ensure high levels of service orientation and data confidentiality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS



Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred: MBA/PGDM in HR or Diploma in HR Operations / Industrial Relations.

Experience

4-8 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles, preferably in the IT/tech industry. Experience with HRMS/ERP platforms and familiarity with statutory labor laws is preferred.
