Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions (GGGI) invites applications for the post of
HR Officer
to manage and strengthen human resource functions in accordance with
College / University / Regulatory norms
. The role requires a professional with strong knowledge of HR practices in the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HR policies as per University, UGC, AICTE, and statutory norms
Manage faculty and staff recruitment, selection, appointment letters, and on-boarding
Maintain service records, personal files, and HR documentation
Handle payroll coordination, leave management, attendance, and compliance
Support performance appraisal, confirmation, promotion, and increment processes
Ensure statutory compliance (audits, inspections)
Coordinate faculty development programs and staff welfare initiatives
Act as a liaison between Management, University, and regulatory authorities
Address employee grievances and ensure disciplinary procedures when required
Eligibility Criteria
Master's Degree in HR / Management / Personnel Management
Minimum
5 years of experience
in HR, preferably in a College / University
Sound knowledge of academic HR policies, statutory compliance, and documentation
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Preferred Attributes
Experience in NAAC/NBA/University audits and accreditation processes
Familiarity with recruitment of faculty and non-teaching staff
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
