Staying informed about labor laws and regulations (local, national, and international), and translating them into practical HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee data:-
Protect employee information by following strict confidentiality protocols and limiting data access to authorized personnel only.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
Ensuring the accuracy, security, and retention of employee records, and preparing required reports for regulatory bodies (e.g., EEO-1 reports).
Liaison & Collaboration:
Serving as a point of contact between HR, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to ensure thoroughness and consistency in compliance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of Labor Laws:
Strong understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EEO, Wage and Hour Laws). A working knowledge of Indian labour laws, such as the Shops and Establishments Act, Payment of Wages Act, and new labour codes, helps ensure compliance in documentation and processes.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively train, guide, and report on compliance matters.
Integrity & Discretion:
The ability to handle sensitive employee data and reports with the utmost confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Technical Skills:
In today's digital workplace, HR Admins must be comfortable using various software tools and understanding legal frameworks to perform efficiently.
