Position: HR Manager
Gender Preference: Male
Experience: Minimum 5 Years (Forging Industry mandatory)
Salary: ₹50,000 per month

Industry: Forging / Heavy Engineering / Automotive Components
Mandatory Requirement
Candidate must have hands-on HR & IR experience in the Forging Industry.
Experience handling shop-floor manpower, contract labor, and union-related matters in forging or metal manufacturing setup is compulsory.
1. Manpower Planning & Recruitment
Forecast manpower requirements for forging operations, production, quality, maintenance, and support functions.
Recruit skilled forging operators, technicians, engineers, and staff.
Coordinate with production heads for shift-wise manpower allocation in forging shop.
Manage contract labor, manpower vendors, and ensure labor law compliance.
2. Training & Skill Development
Identify training needs for forging operators, supervisors, and engineers.
Organize induction training, skill certification, and multi-skilling programs.
Coordinate safety, quality, and process training (5S, TPM, Kaizen, SPC).
Maintain training records as per IATF 16949 requirements.
3. Performance Management
Implement KPIs for forging shop-floor and staff employees.
Conduct performance appraisals and annual performance reviews.
Link performance with increments, promotions, and incentives.
Support productivity improvement initiatives in forging operations.
4. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Maintain healthy employee-management relations in forging environment.
Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and conflict resolution.
Support works committee meetings and employee communication.
Control absenteeism, attrition, and prevent industrial unrest.
5. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
Manage payroll processing for permanent and contract workforce (wages, OT, incentives).
Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and statutory deductions.
Design and administer compensation structures aligned with forging industry norms.
Handle biometric attendance systems and shift rosters.
6. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
Ensure compliance with:
Factories Act
Industrial Disputes Act
Minimum Wages Act
PF & ESI Acts
Contract Labour Act
Coordinate labor department inspections and statutory audits.
Maintain statutory registers, returns, and documentation.
7. Health, Safety & Welfare
Coordinate safety training and awareness programs specific to forging operations.
Support EHS activities including PPE usage, safety audits, and accident reporting.
Ensure compliance with occupational health standards.
Manage canteen, transport, medical, and welfare facilities.
8. HR Policies & Procedures
Develop and implement HR policies (leave, attendance, discipline).
Standardize HR SOPs across forging plant departments.
Ensure fair and consistent policy implementation.
9. Support Quality & Customer Audits
Provide HR documentation during customer audits (OEMs, Tier-1 customers).
Support IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain competency matrices and training effectiveness records.
10. HR Analytics & Reporting
Track attrition, absenteeism, productivity, and training effectiveness.
Prepare HR MIS reports for management review.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in HR processes.
