Your Mission: Build the Engine that Powers Talent Acquisition



We are seeking an experienced and visionary

HR Manager

who will lead and scale end-to-end HR functions across a fast-paced, multi-project environment. This is a strategic role that demands high agency, problem-solving, cultural stewardship, and hands-on execution.

Your work will directly shape our talent culture, build organizational capability, and strengthen the people systems that power our mission.

Your Core Responsibilities



Strategic HR Leadership

Design and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and future workforce needs through partnership, workforce planning and organisational development

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding



Lead hiring for full-time, contractual, campus, and internship roles. Oversee seamless onboarding, induction, and integration experiences.

Performance & Culture



Lead Performance Management Systems (PMS): goal-setting, quarterly reviews, evaluations, and feedback loops. Build engagement, reward, and retention programs that reinforce culture and performance.

Policy & Governance



Develop HR frameworks, SOPs, and compliance documentation. Maintain strong governance, reporting, and process controls across HR operations.

Employee Experience & Growth



Support leadership in talent development and succession planning. Serve as trusted advisor on employee relations, team dynamics, and conflict resolution.

HR Operations



Oversee payroll coordination, HR records, audits, and vendor/stakeholder management. Lead digital HR transformation and data-backed decision-making initiatives.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Experience)



Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (mandatory) MBA/PGDM in Human Resources (preferred) SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP / CIPD or HR Analytics certification (advantageous)

6-12 years

in strategic + operational HR roles across multiple HR verticals Proven experience in designing HR policies, engagement frameworks, and performance systems Strong business partnering, leadership advisory, and stakeholder management experience, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills Expertise in end-to-end recruitment and talent management across diverse role types, in addition to familiarity with HRIS / ATS platforms Prior experience in AI Tools and Use case Scenarios. High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for dashboards and HR analytics Fluency in English and Hindi Willingness to travel across project sites

Your Journey: Short-Term Wins & Long-Term Impact

In Your First 90 Days (Short-Term):

You will gain a deep understanding of our organizational structure, talent needs, and ongoing projects across India. You'll streamline core HR operations, implement structured onboarding for new hires, and establish efficient HR documentation and compliance processes.

From 6 Months Onward (Long-Term):

You will evolve from managing daily end-to-end HR operations that shape organizational culture and scalability. You'll design and institutionalize HR frameworks and engagement programs that foster high performance and retention. Your role will focus on strengthening talent management, workforce planning, and succession strategy--while leveraging HR analytics to guide leadership decisions. Ultimately, you'll be a strategic partner in building an agile, empowered, and data-driven HR ecosystem that fuels Varahe's mission nationwide.
