Job Description

To manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational culture, ensuring a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment aligned with the hospital's vision and values.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning



Plan and execute recruitment as per approved manpower requirements. Source, screen, interview, and onboard suitable candidates. Coordinate with department heads for role clarity and hiring needs. Ensure timely closure of vacancies, especially clinical and critical roles.

2. Onboarding & Induction



Ensure smooth joining formalities and documentation. Conduct structured induction for new joinees. Coordinate training schedules during probation period.

3. HR Operations & Record Management



Maintain employee files, attendance, leave, and shift records. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data and registers. Manage HR MIS and provide periodic reports to management.

4. Performance Management



Implement and monitor KRA-KPI and competency-based appraisal systems. Coordinate mid-term reviews, annual appraisals, confirmations, and increments. Track performance gaps and initiate corrective actions.

5. Employee Relations & Engagement



Act as a bridge between management and employees. Address employee grievances, concerns, and conflicts in a timely manner. Promote a respectful, supportive, and family-like work culture. Plan employee engagement and motivation activities.

6. Training & Development



Identify training needs in coordination with department heads. Organize internal and external training programs. Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

7. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws



Ensure compliance with labour laws, hospital regulations, and statutory requirements. Manage PF, ESIC, gratuity, leave, and related statutory records. Coordinate audits, inspections, and compliance submissions.

8. Payroll & Compensation Support



Coordinate with accounts for payroll processing. Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory deductions. Support management in salary structuring, incentives, and benefits.

9. Policy Development & Implementation



Draft, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs. Ensure uniform implementation of policies across departments. Communicate HR policies clearly to staff.

10. Discipline & Code of Conduct



Ensure adherence to hospital rules, code of conduct, and ethical practices. Handle disciplinary actions, warnings, and documentation as required.
