As we expand our team, we are seeking a seasoned

HR professional

to lead key HR functions, including

talent acquisition

,

employee relations

,

compliance

, and

industrial relations

, supporting both our creative and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:1. Talent Acquisition



Manage end-to-end recruitment for creative, technical, and support roles. Work closely with department heads to forecast and fulfill hiring needs across production, post-production, and administration. Build a strong network of talent, including freelance and contractual resources for project-based work.

2. Generalist HR Functions



Act as the go-to HR partner for day-to-day people matters. Drive employee engagement, performance management, and training initiatives. Assist in fostering a collaborative and compliant work environment aligned with Prasad Studios' values.

3. Industrial Relations (IR) & Statutory Compliance



Handle workforce management for unionized and non-unionized staff, including technicians, artists, and support personnel. Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment Act, CLRA, etc.). Manage audits, labor inspections, and maintain strong relations with external legal and compliance bodies.

4. HR Operations



Maintain accurate employee records, payroll coordination, and compliance documentation. Oversee contracts and onboarding for freelance and project-based staff. Ensure timely reporting and use of HRIS or digital tools for people management.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in HR roles, ideally within

media, production, entertainment, or creative sectors

. Strong working knowledge of

industrial relations

,

labor law compliance

, and

talent acquisition

. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Prior experience with union environments or production crew management is a strong advantage. HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.) are a plus.
