The HR Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, training & development, and organizational development. The role ensures alignment of HR strategies with business objectives and statutory requirements.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for all levels.
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Workforce planning based on department requirements.
Maintain recruitment metrics and hiring reports.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
Ensure compliance with company policies and code of conduct.
3. Performance Management
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
Support departments in goal setting, KPI tracking, and reviews.
Identify high performers and succession planning needs.
4. Payroll & Compensation
Coordinate payroll processing with accounts/finance.
Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and statutory deductions.
Implement salary structures, increments, and incentives.
Ensure accuracy in payroll and employee benefits administration.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws:
PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity
Shops & Establishment Act / Factories Act
Contract Labour Act
Liaise with government departments and inspectors.
Maintain statutory registers and records.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs and prepare annual training plans.
Organize internal and external training programs.
Support leadership and skill development initiatives.
7. HR Policies & Documentation
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and SOPs.
Maintain employee records, HR MIS, and documentation.
Ensure confidentiality of employee data.
8. Administration & Compliance Support
Oversee HR administration activities.
Support audits (internal, statutory, ISO if applicable).
Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
Qualifications
MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
Additional certification in labour laws or HR analytics is an advantage.
Experience
5-10 years of relevant HR experience.
Experience in handling statutory compliance independently.
Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in HRMS, MS Excel, and payroll systems.
