Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic
Manager - Human Resources
to lead the HR function for a reputed organization in the
Construction / Manufacturing
sector. The role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and systems to support business objectives and ensure a motivated, capable, and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Planning & Recruitment
Develop annual manpower and recruitment plans based on project and departmental requirements.
Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure timely availability of qualified talent.
Compensation & Payroll Management
Oversee monthly payroll and ensure accuracy in salary processing.
Recommend annual revisions and maintain employee cost within budget.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster positive employee relations and maintain a healthy work environment.
Address grievances, improve communication, and promote teamwork.
Plan and execute employee engagement activities and satisfaction surveys.
Performance Management
Facilitate goal setting, KPI alignment, and periodic performance reviews.
Recommend promotions, increments, and performance improvement plans.
Training & Development
Identify training needs and prepare annual training calendars.
Coordinate internal/external programs and evaluate training effectiveness.
Policy Implementation & Statutory Compliance
Ensure adherence to company HR policies and statutory requirements.
Handle disciplinary issues as per company norms.
Separation Management
Manage exit processes, conduct exit interviews, and oversee full & final settlements.
Counsel employees for retention wherever applicable.
HR Systems & Process Improvement
Drive HR process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure alignment of HR practices with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: MBA (HR) / MSW
Experience: 15+ years in HR, including 5 years in Construction or Manufacturing industry
Tamil & English (Hindi preferred)
Employee relations and engagement expertise
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge of labour laws and
statutory compliance is mandatory
