The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources -- from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, employee engagement, compliance, and exits. The role demands a mature, people-centric individual who can balance empathy with process discipline and help build a strong, motivated team aligned with the company's values.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Staffing
Understand manpower requirements from various departments and plan recruitment accordingly.
Source, screen, and interview candidates for both retail and back-office roles.
Coordinate with external consultants and job portals when required.
Manage offer letters, joining formalities, and induction.
2. Payroll & Attendance Management
Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.
Maintain attendance and leave records across all outlets and departments.
Handle statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other employee benefits.
Liaise with finance for TDS, reimbursements, and related processes.
3. Employee Onboarding & Engagement
Design and conduct onboarding programs to help new employees integrate smoothly.
Organise regular employee engagement activities, training, and wellness initiatives.
Maintain and update employee records and HR systems.
Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and performance.
4. Performance & Policy Management
Support department heads in setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
Update and communicate HR policies and ensure consistent implementation.
Manage disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution with fairness.
5. Exit Formalities & Record Management
Handle resignations, exit interviews, and full-and-final settlements.
Maintain proper documentation for all employees -- from joining to exit.
Ensure knowledge transfer and continuity planning for key roles.

Ability to multitask across retail and office environments.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and HRMS software.
Education
Graduate or Post-Graduate in HR / Business Administration (MBA-HR preferred).
