Job Description

Job Summary:



The HR Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all human resource functions within the college. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, policy implementation, performance management, compliance with statutory regulations, and promoting a positive work environment that supports the college's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:



Plan and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for teaching and non-teaching staff.

Coordinate with department heads to identify hiring needs and job specifications.

Organize and schedule interviews, demos, and final selection procedures.

Liaise with recruitment agencies and job portals to source quality candidates.

Employee Onboarding & Orientation:



Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation programs for new staff.

Ensure proper documentation, background verification, and induction.

HR Operations & Compliance:



Maintain accurate employee records, service registers, and HRMS database.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, AICTE/UGC/University norms, and institutional policies.

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.

Coordinate internal audits, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.

Performance Management & Appraisals:



Design and implement appraisal systems aligned with academic cycles.

Assist department heads in faculty evaluation and performance improvement plans.

Monitor and maintain service contracts and renewal dates.

Training & Development:



Plan and organize faculty development programs, staff training sessions, and workshops.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Employee Engagement & Welfare:



Organize events, meetings, and welfare programs to improve employee satisfaction.

Foster positive staff relationships and uphold the institution's values and work ethics.

Policy Development:



Draft and update HR policies in consultation with management.

Ensure transparent and fair application of all policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:



Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of HR experience; experience in the education sector preferred.

Sound knowledge of labor laws, payroll, and statutory compliances.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS tools, and document management.

Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism.

Desirable Attributes:



Familiarity with NAAC, NBA, AICTE, and other regulatory frameworks.

Experience in faculty recruitment and working with academic leadership.

Multilingual abilities (English, regional language, Hindi) is a plus.

Remuneration:



Pay: ?40,000 per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
