Job Description

Position: Manager - Manager - Human Resources

Location: On-Site - Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu

Reporting To: Manager- CEO / GM

Experience: 7-10 years

Qualification: bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRM) are an advantage

Salary : 10 LPA

Candidates with experience in the aviation / aerospace / MRO sector will be given preference.

Position Summary:



The HR Manager is responsible for building and leading the Human Resources function in a high-compliance, safety-critical aerospace MRO startup environment. This role includes strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, regulatory compliance (DGCA, EASA, FAA), and fostering a culture aligned with startup agility and aviation discipline. The HR Manager will partner with cross-functional leadership to scale the workforce, establish HR policies, and ensure the company meets regulatory and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 7-10 years of HR experience, including 3+ years in aviation/aerospace or manufacturing. Familiarity with DGCA/EASA/FAA requirements in the context of HR and training. Experience working in a startup or fast-paced scaling environment preferred. Strong knowledge of Indian labor law and aviation sector employment practices.

Key Responsibilities:



1. HR Strategy & Organization Building



Develop and execute the HR roadmap aligned with business goals and MRO regulations. Design the HR structure, policies, SOPs, and documentation in line with EASA/FAA/DGCA compliance standards. Build the organizational chart and plan workforce ramp-up in line with hangar capability growth and customer pipeline.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding



Plan and lead recruitment efforts for technical and non-technical roles, including licensed aircraft engineers, mechanics, planners, quality assurance staff, etc. Develop partnerships with aviation institutes, licensing authorities, and industry bodies for sourcing certified personnel. Build and execute structured onboarding programs tailored to aerospace compliance requirements.

3. Training & Development



Identify skill gaps and implement training programs aligned with engine OEM requirements and regulatory audits. Work closely with QA and Technical Directors to map recurrent training, regulatory training (like HF, EWIS, FTS), and skill enhancement. Maintain training matrices and monitor certification timelines.

4. Performance Management



Develop and implement a performance management system (PMS) to measure individual and team performance. Align KPIs with safety, turnaround times (TAT), quality, and customer satisfaction.

5. HR Operations & Compliance



Ensure compliance with local labor laws and aviation-specific employment regulations. Maintain employee records, contracts, and time tracking systems per DGCA/EASA/FAA standards. Manage payroll, benefits, and HRIS implementation (if not already in place).

6. Culture & Employee Engagement



Foster a high-performance, safety-first culture with agility, discipline, and transparency. Lead employee engagement programs, internal communications, and conflict resolution. Create and maintain grievance redressal and ethics compliance systems.
