to lead and manage the human resources operations of our resort in Pune. The ideal candidate will play a key role in talent management, employee engagement, policy implementation, and maintaining a healthy workplace culture aligned with hospitality industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations
Work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and coordinate hiring processes
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and resort standards
Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, attendance, and payroll coordination
Handle disciplinary procedures, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution
Organize training programs for staff development, guest service excellence, and compliance
Drive employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and wellness programs
Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and guide managers on performance improvement plans
Coordinate with finance for payroll inputs, benefits administration, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.)
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5-8 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality or resort sector
Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Proficient in MS Office and HR management software (e.g., Zoho People, GreytHR, etc.)
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity
Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or hospitality chain
Hands-on experience with mass recruitment and seasonal staffing
Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to work with a diverse workforce
Positive attitude and high emotional intelligence
