- HR Manager (Event Management Industry)Position Overview:



We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our dynamic event management team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource operations, from talent acquisition and workforce planning to performance management and compliance. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and can effectively manage diverse talent across on-ground event staff, creative teams, and support functions.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Talent Acquisition & Staffing



Develop hiring plans aligned with project and seasonal demands. Source, recruit, and onboard full-time, part-time, and freelance event staff. Build and maintain a pipeline of talent across operations, production, logistics, creative, and support roles.

2. Workforce Planning



Coordinate manpower scheduling across events and departments. Maintain employee and freelancer rosters and deployment records. Collaborate with project managers for timely staffing.

3. Employee Relations



Serve as point of contact for all employee concerns. Foster positive work culture, team engagement, and retention initiatives. Conduct grievance handling and conflict resolution.

4. Training & Performance



Implement training programs for on-ground teams and supervisors. Monitor KPIs, performance evaluation cycles, and role expectations. Identify skill gaps and support development plans.

5. HR Operations & Compliance



Maintain HR records, attendance, contracts, payroll coordination. Ensure compliance with labor laws and event-site regulations. Oversee vendor contracts and statutory documentation for contractual staff.

6. Health, Safety & Welfare



Coordinate with venue & safety teams for staff briefing and compliance. Promote health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives during events.

Required Skills & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business Management or related field. 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or media industry. Strong staffing, recruitment & resource allocation skills. Proven ability to manage dynamic, seasonal workforce. Knowledge of labor legislations, contracts, PF/ESI, and compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation & problem-solving skills.
