Handle end-to-end recruitment for production, QA, QC, R&D, Warehouse, Sales, and Corporate roles
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning
Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation
2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
Maintain statutory registers, returns, and inspections
3. Payroll & Compensation
Process monthly payroll in coordination with Accounts
Handle attendance, leave management, overtime, incentives, and deductions
4. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions
Issue show cause notices, warning letters, suspension & termination letters
Maintain healthy industrial relations and discipline
5. HR Policies & Documentation
Draft, implement, and update HR policies as per company & government norms
Maintain employee personal files and HR records
Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, increment letters
6. Training & Development
Organize induction, GMP training, safety training, and soft skill programs
Maintain training records as per pharma audit requirements
7. Performance Management
Implement appraisal systems and KPI-based performance reviews
Coordinate annual increment and promotion processes
8. Audit & Compliance Support
Support internal, external, GMP, and regulatory audits (WHO-GMP, USFDA, etc.)
Ensure HR documentation readiness for audits
Required Qualifications
MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resources
Knowledge of Indian labor laws (mandatory)
Experience
HR Manager:
5-10 years in pharma industry
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of labor laws & statutory compliance
Experience in pharma plant HR operations
Good communication & negotiation skills
Proficient in MS Excel, HRMS, payroll systems
Ability to handle confidential data
