We're seeking a battle-tested HR Manager from textile manufacturing to own factory workforce operations. You'll source skilled labor, manage contractors, run payroll, and keep production floors running smoothly through labor stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Factory Workforce Management:
Source, hire, and replace skilled textile workers (stitching, cutting, finishing, quality control)
Manage contractor relationships, performance, and replacement cycles
Maintain optimal manpower levels across production lines during peak/off-peak seasons
Handle labor absenteeism, turnover, and retention programs specific to factory workers
Payroll & Statutory Compliance:
Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for 100+ factory + office staff
Manage ESIC, PF, PT, Bonus, Gratuity for manufacturing workforce
Ensure 100% compliance with Factory Act, Minimum Wages (textile sector), Contract Labour Act
Maintain labor registers, muster rolls, wage records
Production Floor Operations:
Daily floor presence to monitor worker productivity, morale, and discipline
Coordinate shift planning, overtime allocation, and production manpower requirements
Resolve floor-level conflicts between workers, supervisors, contractors
Implement safety training, PPE compliance, and factory housekeeping standards
Contractor & Vendor Management:
Negotiate rates and contracts with stitching contractors, fabric suppliers
Performance monitoring and replacement of underperforming contractors
Ensure contractor compliance with wage payments, ESI/PF deposits
Recruitment & Training:
Maintain talent pool of skilled tailors, machine operators, quality checkers
Onboard workers with SOP training for Homemonde quality standards
Upskill existing workforce for new product lines and machinery
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have: 5+ years HR experience in textile/garment manufacturing factories
Proven track record managing factory labor contractors and production floor teams
Hands-on experience with textile worker recruitment and replacement
B.Com/MBA HR preferred; degree from recognized university
Deep knowledge of labor laws specific to textile manufacturing (Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages - Textile)
Spoken Hindi + local Rajasthani dialect advantage for floor communication

<10% monthly worker absenteeism
Stable contractor performance across peak seasons
Production never stops due to manpower shortages
