1. Workforce Planning & Recruitment
Plan and manage end-to-end recruitment for factory roles (operators, technicians, supervisors, admin).
Liaise with manpower agencies, local outreach for labour supply, and screening candidates.
Onboard new hires, conduct orientation, and ensure correct documentation for all employees.
2. Attendance, Compliance & Statutory Functions
Monitor daily attendance, shift schedules and leave management.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulatory requirements (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
Maintain statutory registers, records and reports for audits and inspections.
3. Industrial Relations & Employee Welfare
Promote harmony between workforce and management; handle grievances and disciplinary issues fairly. Coordinate with contractors, labour inspectors and local authorities on compliance and workplace safety.
Implement welfare activities such as transport, canteen, medical camps, recreational events.
4. Training & Development
Identify training needs and implement upskilling programs for operators and staff.
Organize safety and compliance workshops in collaboration with EHS teams.
5. HR Operations & Policies
Maintain HR documentation, HRIS records, reports on turnover, recruitment and employee satisfaction.
Implement and enforce HR policies and SOPs in line with company standards.
Handle exit formalities, clearances, settlements and exit interviews.
