Job Summary:
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, motivates, and retains the best talent. The role involves strategic planning, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Staffing
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process -- from manpower planning to onboarding.
Develop job descriptions, post job ads, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently.
2. Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
Promote a positive work culture aligned with organizational values.
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and develop action plans.
3. Performance Management
Drive performance appraisal processes and ensure timely completion.
Assist managers in setting KPIs and performance improvement plans.
Identify training and development needs based on appraisal outcomes.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
Formulate, review, and update HR policies in line with labor laws and company requirements.
Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.) and maintain accurate records.
Handle audits and HR documentation as per regulatory standards.
5. Learning & Development
Design and implement training programs for employees at all levels.
Track training effectiveness and maintain development records.
6. Compensation & Benefits
Oversee payroll administration and ensure timely salary processing.
Analyze compensation structures and recommend improvements for retention.
Manage employee benefits programs and handle related queries.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
Maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics (attrition, headcount, diversity, etc.).
Use data insights to support decision-making and workforce planning.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in HR software (HRMS, payroll tools, etc.).
Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field.
MBA / PGDM in HR preferred.
5-10 years of experience in HR management or a similar role.
