Role Overview



The Retail HR Manager will lead the full spectrum of HR functions for our retail operations. You will manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and talent development specifically for our showroom teams, refinery staff, and administrative support. You will be a strategic partner to business leaders, driving workforce planning, culture, and HR processes in a fast-paced, high-value retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Forecast hiring needs for showroom staff (sales associates, cashiers, supervisors), back-office, and refinery personnel. Recruiting Resources+1 Design and implement recruitment strategies (walk-ins, referrals, portals) to attract high-quality talent. Recruiting Resources Lead onboarding, induction, and orientation programs tailored to retail and refinement staff.

Performance Management

Develop and maintain performance appraisal systems (quarterly/annual) aligned with business goals. iimjobs.com Train showroom managers to conduct fair, effective performance reviews. Use HR metrics (turnover, retention, cost-per-hire) to identify areas for improvement. Recruiting Resources

Employee Engagement & Relations

Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues; mediate and resolve. Mintly Implement staff engagement programs, recognition schemes, and team-building initiatives. Build a positive retail work culture that reflects the brand's values and business objectives.

Compensation & Benefits / Payroll Compliance

Manage compensation plans, incentives for sales staff, and reward programs (especially around peak retail periods). Legal & Statutory Compliance

HR Systems & Reporting

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's / Master's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Experience:

5-8 years of HR experience, preferably in

retail, jewellery, or luxury goods industry.

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with jewellery retail operations, high-value inventory, compliance, and luxury retail workforce dynamics is a plus.
