Position Overview
The
HR Manager
will be responsible for managing the complete HR function, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while aligning HR practices with the goals of Miller House. This role requires someone with
strong experience in attendance management, payroll processing, and grievance handling
, as well as the ability to implement effective HR strategies within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Plan and execute
end-to-end recruitment
for different roles across operations and management.
Conduct
interviews, screenings, and selection processes
to hire the right talent.
Manage
employee onboarding, induction programs, and documentation
.
2. Attendance & Payroll Management
Maintain accurate records of
attendance, leaves, and duty rosters
.
Ensure
timely and accurate payroll processing
, including service charge distribution.
Monitor overtime, shift changes, and other attendance-related issues.
3. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Act as the
first point of contact
for all staff-related queries and concerns.
Address and resolve
employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters
.
Promote a
healthy and positive work culture
by ensuring fair practices.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
Develop and enforce
HR policies, SOPs, and company guidelines
.
Ensure compliance with
labour laws, statutory requirements, and audits
.
Maintain and update all
employee records and HR documentation
.
5. Training & Development
Identify
training needs
and organize sessions to improve staff performance.
Implement
employee engagement initiatives
to boost morale and retention.
Support
career development plans
for staff members.
6. Performance Management
Implement and oversee
performance review systems
.
Track staff productivity and recommend
reward, recognition, or corrective actions
.
Work with management to align HR outcomes with
business objectives
.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
.
3-6 years of HR experience
(hospitality/restaurant/bar industry preferred).
Proven experience handling
attendance, payroll, and grievance management
.
Good knowledge of
labour laws, compliance, and payroll systems
.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a
fast-paced hospitality environment
.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
?30,000 - ?35,000 per month (depending on experience).
Other Benefits:
As per company policy (to be discussed at the time of interview).
Duty Hours:
10:00 am - 7:00 pm.
Working Days:
6 days a week.
Weekly Off:
1 weekly off as per standard practice.
