Job Description

The Plant HR Senior will be responsible for managing plant-level HR operations with a strong focus on employee grievance handling, canteen and welfare management, statutory compliance, and coordination with plant management to ensure smooth workforce functioning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Grievance & Employee Relations



Handle employee grievances effectively and ensure timely resolution Conduct employee counseling and support disciplinary actions as required Maintain healthy employee-management relations at the plant

2. Canteen & Welfare Management



Oversee canteen operations and ensure food quality, hygiene, and statutory compliance Coordinate with canteen vendors and manage service issues Monitor employee welfare facilities including drinking water, rest rooms, and first aid

3. Plant HR Operations



Manage attendance, leave, shift rosters, and OT monitoring Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and plant HR MIS Coordinate payroll inputs with accounts/HO

4. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws



Ensure compliance with Factory Act, ESI, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labor laws Handle statutory inspections, audits, registers, returns, and renewals Coordinate with safety and admin teams for compliance-related requirements

5. Industrial Relations (IR)



Support IR activities and maintain discipline on the shop floor Assist in handling show cause notices, domestic enquiries, and settlements Coordinate with contractors for contract labor compliance

6. Coordination with Plant Management



Act as a bridge between plant management and employees Support Plant Head in workforce administration and policy implementation Prepare HR reports and submit updates to management
Qualifications & Experience

MBA / MSW / PG in HR or related field 10-15 years of experience in plant HR / manufacturing setup Strong exposure to grievance handling, welfare, and statutory compliance
Skills & Competencies

Strong interpersonal and conflict-handling skills Good knowledge of labor laws and factory compliances Ability to handle workforce issues independently Vendor and stakeholder coordination skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
