We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Specialist to join our HR team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and employee development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and policies, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
1. Assist in full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, candidate interviews, and hiring decisions.
2. Coordinate job fairs, recruitment events, and build relationships with recruitment agencies and universities.
3. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Onboarding & Orientation:
1. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of employment contracts, benefits enrolment, and orientation sessions.
2. Ensure new employees are properly introduced to company culture, policies, and teams.
Employee Relations:
1. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
2. Support employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and performance issues.
3. Promote a positive workplace environment and work culture.
Performance Management:
1. Assist with performance review processes, including tracking evaluations, feedback collection, and supporting managers during review cycles.
2. Help in setting performance goals and ensuring they align with business objectives.
Benefits
Administration
:
1. Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
2. Provide employees with information regarding benefits eligibility, claims, and issues related to their benefits packages.
Compliance & Policy Enforcement:
1. Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment standards, and internal policies.
2. Assist in drafting, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
3. Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure confidentiality.
