The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions with a strong focus on policy implementation, employee relations, compliance, and operational HR support. The role requires hands-on experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments, ensuring HR processes align with organizational goals and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Policy Implementation
Implement, monitor, and ensure compliance with company HR policies, procedures, and SOPs across departments.
Regularly review HR policies and recommend updates as per labor laws and organizational needs.
Ensure consistent policy communication and adherence at all levels of the organization.
2. Recruitment & Talent Management
Manage end-to-end recruitment for operational, sales, and managerial roles.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring plans.
Oversee onboarding, induction, and probation confirmation processes.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
Foster a positive work culture, discipline, and professional conduct across the organization.
Support employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
4. Performance Management & Compliance
Support performance appraisal processes and ensure timely execution.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including attendance, leave management, PF, ESI, and other labor laws.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR MIS reports, and documentations
5. Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs.
Support skill development initiatives, especially for sales and field staff in FMCG environments.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance.
Experience in FMCG or high-volume workforce environments (preferred).
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle employee issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
Education & Experience
MBA / MSW in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
2-3 years of hands-on experience in HR operations.
FMCG industry exposure will be an added advantage.
