The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at MS Sportswear, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, strong employee relations, efficient recruitment, and compliance with labour laws. The role supports management in building a disciplined, productive, and engaged workforce aligned with business and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory, office, supervisory, and managerial roles.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and induction of new employees.
Support manpower planning aligned with production targets and business needs.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
Handle employee relations issues with proper investigation, documentation, and resolution.
Support initiatives to improve employee engagement, coordination, and workplace discipline.
Facilitate communication between management and employees regarding policies and changes.
3. Performance Management
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and KPIs across departments.
Coordinate appraisal cycles, increments, promotions, and corrective action plans.
Support department heads in employee performance reviews and development discussions.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements.
Monitor attendance, leave, discipline, and code of conduct adherence.
5. Payroll & Compensation Coordination
Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for accurate payroll processing and statutory compliance.
Manage salary revisions, increments, deductions, and employee compensation records.
Support implementation of fair and structured compensation practices.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs for factory staff, supervisors, and office teams.
Coordinate internal and external training programs for skill and leadership development.
Support succession planning and employee career development initiatives.
7. HR Data, MIS & Reporting
Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
Prepare HR reports related to manpower, attrition, recruitment, attendance, and performance.
Track HR metrics to support management decision-making.
8. Health, Safety & Workplace Well-being
Coordinate with management to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Address safety concerns and support safety training initiatives in manufacturing units.
Promote a safe, disciplined, and healthy work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Master's degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of HR experience
Prior experience in manufacturing, factory, or production environments preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle employee relations and sensitive matters professionally
Proficiency in HR systems, MS Excel, and documentation
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
