Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and people-focused
HR Manager / Assistant HR Manager
to lead the full employee lifecycle at Bella Designs. This role will independently manage
Own and execute the entire recruitment lifecycle--workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Build talent pipelines for niche roles (designers, project managers, site supervisors, sales, back office etc.).
Reduce hiring cycle time and strengthen candidate experience.
Manage recruitment vendors, job portals, and referral programs.
2. Employee Onboarding & Lifecycle Management
Conduct structured induction programs and ensure seamless onboarding.
Maintain employee records, letters, contracts, and HR documentation.
Manage confirmation, probation reviews, role changes, transfers, and promotions.
Oversee HRMS data accuracy and employee documentation.
3. Performance & Talent Management
Drive goal-setting, monthly reviews, annual appraisals, and competency mapping.
Implement performance improvement plans (PIP) when required.
Support leaders in identifying high performers and succession planning.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Design and execute engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
Conduct pulse surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
Build a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
5. Employee Relations & Policy Administration
Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances.
Facilitate conflict resolution between employees and managers.
Maintain updated HR policies, code of conduct, and disciplinary processes.
Coordinate with finance for monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leaves, variable pay).
Manage attendance, leaves, overtime, and timesheet adherence.
Ensure compliance with Shops & Establishment Act, PF, ESI, and labour laws.
Prepare HR reports (attrition, hiring data, HR dashboard, attendance metrics).
7. Exit Management
Handle resignations, notice period discussions, exit interviews, and F&F coordination.
Analyse attrition trends and recommend preventive strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
3-7 years of experience in HR generalist or HR Manager/Assistant HRM roles.
Strong experience in
end-to-end recruitment
and
employee lifecycle management
.
Exposure to performance management and HR policy design is preferred.
Understanding of labour laws, payroll processes, and compliance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in design, architecture, construction, or creative industries is a plus.
