The HR Manager will lead and manage all human resources functions for a growing real estate organization. This role ensures the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent across sales, property management, leasing, marketing, and administrative teams. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, performance management, training, compliance, and employee relations to support a high-performing and compliant work environment.
Manage full-cycle recruitment for real estate agents, leasing consultants, property managers, administrative staff, and support roles.
Develop strategic hiring plans to meet organizational hiring needs.
Partner with department leads to forecast staffing requirements.
Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage the onboarding process.
2. Employee Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance, attendance, and disciplinary issues.
3. Training & Development
Create and implement onboarding programs tailored for real estate roles.
Coordinate training for compliance, sales, leasing techniques, customer service, and leadership.
Support professional development initiatives and certification programs.
4. Performance Management
Develop and maintain performance evaluation systems.
Support managers in setting KPIs for leasing, sales, and property management teams.
Track employee performance and implement improvement plans when needed.
5. HR Compliance & Policies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Update and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and codes of conduct.
6. Compensation & Benefits
Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration.
Monitor industry standards and recommend adjustments to compensation packages.
Support agent commission structures and incentive programs.
7. HR Operations
Maintain HRIS systems and generate HR reports.
Oversee attendance, leave management, and workplace safety programs.
Support organizational planning and change management initiatives.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5-10 years HR experience (real estate industry experience preferred).
Professional certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of real estate staffing needs (agents, leasing, sales, property management).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in HRIS systems, recruitment platforms, and Microsoft Office.
