Position- HR Manager
Exp-
10+yrs experience as an HR manager in a manufacturing environment, with specific knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes preferred.
Location- The role is based in Peenya, with regular office hours. Some flexibility in working hours.

Education:
Bachelor's/master's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Key Responsibilities
:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Lead the recruitment process for all levels of the organization, from production staff to managerial positions.
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the industry.
Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and coordinate the selection process.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment across the organization.
Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Coordinate training sessions and workshops on topics such as safety, compliance, and technical skills.
Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Performance Management:
Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve productivity and efficiency.
Coach managers on effective performance management techniques.
Compliance and Legal:
Stay up to date on labour laws and regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Work with legal counsel as needed to address any legal issues or disputes
.
Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Communicate benefit offerings to employees and assist with enrolment and inquiries.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including personnel files and employee databases.
Process payroll and manage timekeeping systems.
Prepare reports and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
