We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to handle key HR functions, including payroll processing, provident fund (PF) management, leave policies, employee compliance, and grievance management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a strong background in HR operations and employee relations. This role requires an individual who can ensure the smooth running of HR processes while promoting a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Oversee the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage deductions such as PF, ESI, and other statutory contributions.
Ensure compliance with taxation laws, issuing salary slips, and maintaining payroll records.
Coordinate with finance for timely salary disbursement and audits.
Provident Fund (PF) Administration:
Ensure compliance with the Provident Fund Act and manage employee PF accounts.
Facilitate PF-related transactions, including new enrollments, exits, and withdrawals.
Keep track of PF contributions and ensure they align with organizational policies.
Handle PF-related queries from employees and provide timely resolutions.
Leave Policy Management:
Administer employee leave policies, including paid, sick, and casual leave.
Maintain records of leave balances and ensure proper documentation for leave requests.
Review and update leave policies to stay compliant with labor laws and company standards.
Resolve leave-related queries from employees promptly.
Employee Compliance:
Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Maintain employee records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Assist in implementing policies that enhance compliance with industry standards.
Grievance Management:
Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and complaints.
Investigate complaints in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide solutions to issues concerning workplace environment, compensation, or any other HR-related issues.
Promote a harmonious work environment by encouraging open communication and positive employee relations.
Employee Engagement and Well-being:
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and job satisfaction.
Coordinate training and development programs to improve employee skills.
Act as a mediator between employees and management to resolve conflicts and promote a collaborative atmosphere.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Prepare reports related to payroll, leave balances, compliance, and grievances for management review.
Assist in preparing HR-related budgets and forecasts.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll, PF, leave policies, and employee compliance.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in HR software (e.g., SAP, Workday), MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, PF Act, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) are a plus.
