to lead our Human Resources department. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle--from sourcing top-tier talent for our production and sales teams to ensuring the highest standards of staff welfare and 100% legal compliance with Indian labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
End-to-end management of the recruitment process for plant, corporate, and field sales roles.
Documentation Design:
Drafting comprehensive s (JDs) and Job Profiles that align with FMCG operational needs.
Contract Management:
Preparation and issuance of professional Offer Letters and Appointment Letters, ensuring all clauses protect both the company and the employee.
2. Statutory Compliance & Payroll Support
Maintaining rigorous compliance with all statutory requirements, including:
PF (Provident Fund):
Handling registrations, monthly contributions, and withdrawals.
ESI (Employee State Insurance):
Managing employee records and ensuring medical benefit compliance.
Gratuity & Bonus:
Calculating and managing disbursements as per the Payment of Gratuity Act and Payment of Bonus Act.
Liaising with government labor departments and handling inspections/audits.
3. Staff Welfare & Employee Engagement
Developing and implementing welfare schemes to boost morale in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
Managing workplace facilities (hygiene, safety gear) to ensure a healthy work-life environment.
Handling grievance redressal and maintaining harmonious industrial relations.
4. Performance Management
Designing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for diverse roles, from factory floor workers to area sales managers.
Conducting annual performance appraisals and identifying training needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
MBA in HR, Master's in Human Resources Management, or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of HR experience, with at least
2 years in the FMCG or Manufacturing sector
.
Legal Expertise:
Deep knowledge of the Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and latest Wage Codes.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional negotiation skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization (from laborers to executives).
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in using HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and MS Office (Advanced Excel is a must).
