Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead core HR functions at our manufacturing unit.
The role requires strong expertise in Industrial Relations (IR), employee training & development, engagement initiatives, and compliance with safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a performance-driven, legally compliant, and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Industrial Relations (IR)
Handle worker relations with maturity, tact, and compliance with labor laws.
Liaise with government labor authorities, unions, and external legal consultants as needed.
Ensure compliance with all statutory labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, Trade Union Act, etc.).
Manage grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, warning/charge sheets, and domestic inquiries.
Maintain IR records such as standing orders, registers, and notices.
Training & Development
Assess training needs by coordinating with HODs and define annual training calendars.
Organize and evaluate technical, behavioral, safety, and compliance training sessions.
Implement internal and external training programs and track effectiveness (ROI).
Promote continuous skill development and career progression for employees.
Employee Engagement
Plan and execute engagement activities: cultural events, birthday celebrations, team-building sessions, etc.
Conduct periodic employee feedback surveys and implement improvement actions.
Build a positive workplace culture through recognition, welfare initiatives, and grievance handling.
Safety & Compliance
Collaborate with the Safety Officer to ensure compliance with workplace safety norms.
Promote safety awareness and support execution of drills, audits, and PPE programs.
Participate in safety committee meetings and statutory audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and other relevant standards.
Required Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and IR practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage floor-level workforce and senior management expectations.
Proficient in MS Office, HRMS tools, and report generation.
Energetic, proactive, and result-oriented personality.
Personal skills:
Hands-on experience in handling shop-floor workers is a must.
Knowledge of Marathi is preferred
