The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with labour laws, and fostering a positive work culture. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Staffing
Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
Develop manpower plans and coordinate with department heads.
Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and oversee offer process.
Maintain relationships with placement agencies and job portals.
2. Employee Onboarding & Orientation
Ensure smooth joining formalities and documentation.
Conduct induction programs for new hires.
Maintain employee records and personnel files.
3. HR Operations
Manage attendance, leave records, and employee database (HRMS).
Oversee payroll inputs and ensure timely coordination with the accounts team.
Handle statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
Create and update HR policies.
4. Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Maintain discipline and ensure a healthy workplace environment.
Conduct employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.
5. Performance Management
Coordinate appraisal cycles and KPI/KRA evaluations.
Support managers in reviewing employee performance.
Identify training needs and plan development programs.
6. Compliance & Legal
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Handle audits, inspections, and documentation related to statutory bodies.
Maintain confidentiality and data privacy standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or related field.
5-10 years of experience in Human Resources management.
Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle conflict, multitask, and make strategic decisions.
