The HR Manager will manage end-to-end HR operations for the hospital, ensuring optimal staffing, statutory compliance, workforce discipline, and employee engagement to support high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Recruit doctors, nurses, paramedics, technicians, administrative and support staff.
Maintain staffing levels for OPD, IPD, ICU, Emergency, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and Admin.
Build local and regional recruitment pipelines.
B. Onboarding & Training
Implement structured onboarding programs for all categories of staff.
Coordinate mandatory training on SOPs, patient handling, infection control, safety, and compliance.
C. Shift, Attendance & Payroll Coordination
Prepare and monitor shift rosters, especially for ICU, ER, and night shifts.
Track attendance, leave, overtime, and absenteeism.
Coordinate with accounts for timely and accurate payroll processing.
D. Performance Management
Define KPIs for medical and non-medical staff.
Support department heads in appraisals, promotions, and corrective actions.
E. Employee Relations
Handle grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters.
Implement retention and engagement initiatives suitable for the local workforce.
F. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, J&K regulations, PF, ESI, and healthcare norms.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR policies.
G. HR Reporting
Provide monthly HR dashboards on manpower, attrition, absenteeism, training, and compliance.
Qualifications
MBA / Master's in HR, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management preferred.
Minimum 4 years HR experience; hospital or healthcare HR experience preferred.
Strong understanding of labor law compliance and hospital HR operations.
