About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
HR Manager / Head
to lead and strengthen our Human Resources function in a dynamic and fast-paced construction and real estate environment. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic planning with hands-on HR execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, recruitment, compliance, payroll, and people management--preferably in the
civil construction or real estate
sector.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Systems
Design and implement scalable HR policies, systems, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
Drive organizational development initiatives, change management, and cultural alignment.
Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and induction.
Build and manage a talent pipeline for various functions including site, admin, engineering, and back office.
Payroll & Compliance
Supervise payroll processing, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.), and benefits administration.
Ensure up-to-date employee records and adherence to labor laws and regulatory frameworks.
HR Operations
Oversee attendance, leave management, employee database, HR documentation, and MIS reporting.
Implement HR automation tools and processes to improve efficiency.
Performance & Development
Collaborate with department heads to run performance review cycles, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
Identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
Employee Relations
Act as a liaison between employees and senior management.
Resolve workplace conflicts and foster a transparent and positive work environment.
Team Leadership
Hire, mentor, and manage the internal HR team.
Coordinate with external vendors, labor contractors, and consultants as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
8+ years
of progressive HR experience in the
construction, infrastructure, or real estate sector
.
Strong knowledge of
labor laws
, payroll management, and HRMS tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing business needs.
Fluency in Marathi, English, and Hindi
is
mandatory
.
