Head (Manager) - Human Resources (Offshore Operations)
US-based Accounting & Advisory Firm | India Offshore Delivery Centre
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HR Head to lead and scale all human resources functions for India Offshore Delivery Centre. This role is critical in strengthening organizational culture, driving strategic people initiatives, and ensuring robust HR governance aligned with global standards.
The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with business objectives and offshore growth plans
Design and implement HR policies, frameworks, and organizational structures
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people, culture, and workforce planning.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning
Build scalable hiring models suitable for a consulting / professional services environment
Strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines
Performance, Engagement & Retention
Drive performance management systems (KRAs, KPIs, appraisals)
Design and implement employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives
Manage succession planning and leadership readiness
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and HR operations governance
Oversee HR systems, documentation, and audits
Employee Relations & Governance
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance management
Maintain a fair, transparent, and compliant workplace culture
Learning & Leadership Development
Lead training, leadership development, and capability-building programs
Integrate modern learning approaches, including digital and AI-enabled tools
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (mandatory)
Awareness and working knowledge of AI applications in HR (mandatory)
Experience & Expertise
10-15 years of progressive HR experience.
Strong command over Indian labour laws, HR systems, and people management practices
Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or offshore delivery environments preferred
Competencies
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
Strong stakeholder management and leadership presence
High integrity, maturity, and decision-making ability
Experience working with global consulting is preferred.
