The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations at the food co-packing plant. This includes recruitment, onboarding, time office management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and assisting in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for operators, contract labor, and staff positions.
Conduct interviews, issue offer letters, and facilitate background checks.
Oversee employee onboarding and induction programs.
2. Time Office & Attendance:
Monitor daily attendance, leave records, overtime, and shift rosters.
Ensure accurate data entry for payroll processing.
Coordinate with contractors for deployment of contract manpower.
3. Statutory Compliance:
Maintain records related to PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and labor laws.
Liaise with contractors to ensure compliance under CLRA, minimum wages, and other applicable labor laws.
Prepare documentation for audits and inspections.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare:
Organize employee welfare activities, health camps, and festive celebrations.
Handle employee grievances and escalate when required.
Support initiatives to improve employee morale and productivity.
5. HR Documentation & MIS:
Maintain employee personal files, HRIS, and statutory registers.
Prepare and submit regular MIS reports related to headcount, attrition, and compliance.
6. Training & Development:
Coordinate skill development and compliance training (GMP, HACCP, safety).
Maintain training records.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of HR operations in manufacturing / food processing preferred.
Understanding of labor laws and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage contractors and contract labor issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / MBA in HR or related field.
2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in food manufacturing / FMCG / co-packing environment.
Experience handling time office and statutory compliance is a must.
Other Requirements:
Flexible to work in shifts if required.
Willing to travel locally for compliance or labor office work.
