We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource & Administration Manager / Sr. Manager to lead the HR & Admin functions at our Pharma Formulation Manufacturing Unit located at Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to plant HR, administration, statutory compliance, and HR operations specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resource Management
Strategic HR & Leadership:
Lead HR operations for the entire manufacturing facility.
Develop HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive culture-building and employee engagement initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
Manage end-to-end recruitment across production, QC, QA, engineering, warehouse, and admin functions.
Create and implement effective manpower planning for shift operations.
Performance Management:
Manage KRAs/KPIs, appraisal processes, promotions, and performance improvement plans.
Ensure competency development and training implementation.
Employee Relations & Statutory Compliance:
Maintain positive industrial relations and employee discipline.
Ensure compliance with Factories Act, ESIC, PF, CLRA, Shop & Establishment, and other statutory requirements.
Handle HR audits and documentation.
Payroll & HR Operations:
Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and HRMS.
Maintain employee files, HR MIS, and dashboards.
2. Administration Management
Oversee general administration of the plant premises.
Manage housekeeping, security, cafeteria, transportation, and guest management.
Ensure maintenance of office infrastructure, utilities, and administrative services.
Vendor management -- negotiate contracts and monitor service providers.
Control administrative budgets, consumables, and AMC services.
Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with administrative SOPs.
Coordinate for government liaisoning, license renewals, and statutory inspections.
Candidate Profile:
MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
Mandatory experience in Pharmaceutical / Formulation Manufacturing HR & Admin.
Strong knowledge of plant HR, labour laws, and administrative operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to independently manage a manufacturing-site HR & Admin function.
