to oversee all HR operations, recruitment, and people management for our Interior Design Studio and Furniture Manufacturing Unit. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in HR policies, labour laws, recruitment processes, and should be comfortable managing a diverse team that includes designers, factory labour, craftsmen, production teams, admin staff, and site teams.
Lead end-to-end recruitment for all roles (designers, architects, draftsmen, project managers, labour, factory staff, etc.).
Draft job descriptions, conduct screenings, schedule interviews, and finalize hiring decisions with management.
Maintain a strong talent pipeline for upcoming roles as the company grows.
Ensure cultural and skill-fit alignment for all new hires.
2. HR Operations & Policy Management
Create, update, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, code of conduct, and workplace guidelines.
Ensure compliance with HR regulations, ESI, PF, attendance systems, grievances, and appraisal processes.
Manage employee onboarding, documentation, verification, and exit formalities.
3. Labour & Compliance Management
Strong understanding of
Indian labour laws
, particularly relevant for factory workers, craftsmen, and contractual staff.
Maintain statutory compliance related to labour, workplace safety, working hours, and labour registrations.
Build trust and rapport with factory teams; address grievances professionally and promptly.
4. Employee Relations & People Management
Maintain healthy workplace culture by interacting with team members individually and addressing concerns.
Mediate conflicts, improve communication, and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
Conduct training sessions, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.
Ensure smooth communication and HR support across both design and manufacturing divisions.
Requirements
3-6 years of HR/recruitment experience, preferably in
interior design, architecture, furniture manufacturing, or construction
industries.
Strong knowledge of
HR policies, labour laws, compliance, payroll basics, and documentation
.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to manage a diverse workforce -- from designers to factory labour.
Strong recruitment skills and the ability to evaluate both technical and cultural fit.
High level of professionalism, empathy, and people-first approach.
