Job Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and HR strategy to ensure a productive, engaged, and legally compliant workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Develop job descriptions and job postings for various roles.
Conduct orientation and ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Plan employee engagement and team-building activities.
3. Performance Management
Implement performance appraisal systems and KPIs.
Support managers in employee evaluations and goal-setting.
Provide coaching and feedback to enhance employee performance.
4. Training & Development
Identify training needs and organize employee development programs.
Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.
5. Policy & Compliance
Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
6. Payroll & Compensation
Coordinate payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
Manage attendance, leave records, and benefits administration.
7. Strategic HR Management
Support management in workforce planning and budgeting.
Contribute to HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
5+ years of HR experience (at least 2 years in a managerial role).
Strong understanding of HR laws and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in HRMS software and MS Office.
