The HR Manager - Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the organization's HR practices comply with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements. This role focuses heavily on employee relations, policy implementation, audits, and maintaining a compliant and ethical work environment.

Key Responsibilities



Ensure compliance with all labor laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies. Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment Act, Maternity Benefits Act, etc. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation for audits and inspections. Conduct periodic internal HR compliance audits and ensure corrective actions. Keep leadership updated on regulatory changes and their implications. Handle employee relations issues while ensuring fairness and policy adherence. Draft, review, and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs. Manage disciplinary actions and grievance redressal processes legally and ethically. Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities. Develop compliance awareness programs and training for employees. Assist with onboarding, exits, and background verification processes in line with compliance requirements. Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and returns.
