Job Summary



The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all human resource activities within the furniture manufacturing facility, managing both blue-collar and white-collar employees. The incumbent will ensure efficient HR operations, compliance with labor laws, and foster a positive work environment. The role requires strong expertise in handling grievances, payroll, overtime, advances, loans, tax deductions, and other core HR functions.

Key Responsibilities



Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

Manage and resolve employee grievances and disputes in a timely and fair manner. Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and queries. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Recruitment & Onboarding

Oversee recruitment processes for both blue-collar and white-collar roles. Conduct interviews, manage onboarding, and ensure smooth induction of new hires.

Payroll & Compensation Management

Administer salary processing, overtime calculations, and disbursement of advances and loans. Ensure accurate and timely tax deductions and statutory compliance.

Performance Management

Implement and manage performance appraisal systems. Provide feedback and coaching to employees and managers.

Training & Development

Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs for employees at all levels. Promote career growth and succession planning.

HR Policies & Compliance

Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to labor laws, factory regulations, and company standards.

Leave & Attendance Management

Oversee leave management, attendance tracking, and related documentation.

Employee Benefits & Welfare

Administer employee benefits, social security, and other welfare schemes. Handle insurance, provident fund, and gratuity matters.

HR Administration

Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.

Industrial Relations

Liaise with unions and management on labor-related matters. Participate in collective bargaining and negotiations8.

Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to employment, wages, and benefits.

Experience & Qualifications



Education:

MBA in HR or related field preferred; bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of HR experience in manufacturing, with proven track record of managing both blue-collar and white-collar employees.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion. Proficiency in HRMS and payroll software.

Other Requirements:

Experience in grievance handling, payroll management, and industrial relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
