The

HR Manager & Admin

is responsible for managing the complete

Human Resources and Administrative functions

for cinema theatre and hotel operations. This role ensures effective manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, training, and smooth day-to-day administrative operations in a

24/7 service environment

.

Key Responsibilities:



Human Resources Management



Manpower Planning & Recruitment



Plan manpower requirements for cinema theatres and hotel operations. Handle end-to-end recruitment for operations, F&B, housekeeping, front office, security, and support staff. Coordinate interviews, on boarding, induction, and documentation.

Employee Relations & Performance



Manage employee engagement, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions. Implement performance appraisal systems and incentive plans. Support department heads with staff productivity and attendance control.

Training & Development



Conduct induction programs for new joiners. Coordinate training on service standards, SOPs, safety, POS, and soft skills. Ensure compliance training (POSH, safety, hygiene).

Attendance, Payroll & HRMIS



Monitor attendance, shift rosters, leaves, and overtime. Coordinate payroll processing with finance. Maintain employee records, HRMIS, and MIS reports.

Statutory Compliance



Ensure compliance with

Labour Laws

, including: PF, ESI Minimum Wages Act Shops & Establishments Act Contract Labour Act Gratuity Act Coordinate inspections and audits. Manage vendor compliance for outsourced staff (security, housekeeping).

Qualifications & Experience:



MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

5-8 years of HR & Admin experience

in

Cinema, Hotel, Hospitality, Retail, or QSR

sectors. Experience handling large operational workforce and shift-based staff.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multi-location operations. Problem-solving and conflict-management skills.

Working Conditions :



May require visiting cinema theatres / hotel locations. Availability during peak seasons, festivals, and audits.
