The Experience

In today's multifaceted technology environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the HR Technology & Systems team at Colgate. Our team is dedicated to driving digital growth for Colgate Palmolive in this ever-changing landscape.

As part of the CBS Learning Systems Team, this position is responsible for updating and maintaining all learning objects and courses within the Learning Management System. The role will also act as the first point of contact for all Learning System related queries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the training deployment process (eg: new course launch)
  • Responsible for creation of Courses, Curricula, Programs, Assignment Profiles, Classes, Track Registration, Capture Record Learning & Closing Classes in LMS.
  • Maintain and update and improve existing attributes in the LMS.
  • Research and resolve technical issues in the Learning applications (eg. LMS/Degreed/EdApp)
  • Raise configuration level issues with the IT team and get the resolution implemented.
  • Maintain updated portfolio database and training records (eg: make sure all the LMS records such as items and curricula are correct)
  • Responsible for ensuring all learner data and information in the LMS meets regulatory requirements, good documentation practices, and is stored in a manner that can be retrieved quickly and efficiently when needed during daily operations.
  • Conduct progress reports by tracking and communicating both attendance and performance concerns
  • Serve as an escalation contact for support issues for the HR team
  • Create, manage, and enforce LMS standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Serves as a consultant in LMS products, functionality development methodology and application (eg: validation).
  • Perform risk analysis on LMS enhancements post releases
  • Provide process solution using available features of Learning system
  • Guide business on best use of LMS based on requirements.
  • Create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
  • Conduct enhancement workshops with stakeholder
  • Design measurement and reporting of impact for allocated programs and gather feedback to continuously improve and innovate ensuring alignment with business outcomes
  • Partner with the wider L&D team and appropriate business areas to develop fit-for-purpose learning and development solutions and continuously improve and innovate
  • Remain up to date with core learning models, frameworks, technologies and platforms and leverage effectively across deliverables
  • E-learning Responsibilities
  • Loading content - receive SCORM zip files and load into content management system, versioning, modify item and content object attributes in LMS Staging, Push to Production
  • Testing in Desktop (Chrome Browser) & Mobile (Android and iOS)
  • Colgate Standards and Functionality QA testing and communication of errors to supplier and project teams who designed / developed content. If errors are found, communicate errors to supplier and project teams who designed/developed content.
  • Ability to assign digital assets in development to participants in Online Reviews and/or Real World Test.
  • Ability to troubleshoot why a course is not working for employees if the current FAQs do not support the fix
  • Ability to test digital assets for new Colgate equipment/software requirements eg. browser upgrades, etc.,
  • Work with GIT and HR Solutions to evaluate and test new functionality in Learning Systems
Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience:
  • Up to 3 years of HR/Learning/LMS experience
  • 1-2 years of recent experience working as an LMS administrator
  • Bachelor/Masters in Computers
  • English: fluent (speaking, reading, writing)
Areas of Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the SuccessFactors Learning Management System tool and effective problem solving skills
  • Technical expertise in how courses are built, browser settings, computer specs, mobile specs, etc.
  • Ability to follow checklist and document findings.
  • Technical expertise using Fiddler software to confirm the calls are successful to LMS
  • Knowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches, concepts and tools
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities in support of changing organization objectives
  • Organizes work efforts by prioritizing tasks, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Excellent customer service and support oriented-approaches to interaction

  • Certification as an administrator of a Learning Management System or demonstrated equivalent experience and expertise is required

  • Proficiency and experience in managing data and reporting capabilities required

Required Qualifications:
  • Hands on experience of minimum 2 year in SuccessFactors LMS system
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Bachelor/ Master in Computers
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause
  • Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies
Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience of working with SuccessFactors LMS
  • Good SAP technical architecture knowledge
  • Knowledge on SAP Cloud Platform, Degreed, MTM & SFDC
  • Knowledge on Google tools (sheets, slides, doc)
  • Hands on experience in Javascript
