Source, screen, and hire sales staff, cashiers, store helpers, and support staff.
Conduct interviews and coordinate onboarding formalities.
Employee Management
Maintain attendance, leave records, and daily staff schedules.
Ensure proper grooming standards and staff discipline.
Handle staff queries and provide HR support.
Training & Development
Conduct basic sales training, customer service training, and product knowledge sessions.
Ensure new employees understand store policies and procedures.
Payroll & Compliance
Assist in monthly payroll processing.
Maintain employee records as per company policies.
Support statutory compliance (ESI, PF, etc., if applicable).
Performance Monitoring
Monitor staff performance and report to HR Manager/Store Manager.
Identify gaps and help improve productivity.
Employee Engagement
Organize team meetings, staff motivation activities, and celebrations.
Store Support
Coordinate with store managers for manpower requirements.
Resolve minor staff conflicts and ensure a healthy work environment.
Skills Required:
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email drafting)
Knowledge of HR processes
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment
